I've been going over the blog lately... and I realized that my last video was posted in august TWO YEARS AGO !!

At first I couldn't believe that two years have gone by since my last video. 

Then I realized that that's just wrong, and decided to make a new one! 

However, I got so excited about shooting a video, I forgot to take pictures...

Cherry n Pistachio Cake

Cherries. Nature's way of apologizing for the blazing heat of summer.

"I am deeply sorry for this inferno you find yourself in, here, have a cherry!"
You take that cherry, gladly! and its marvelous taste melts away in your mouth... or is it you that's melting?...

Cheese and Spinach Buns

Grandma Rachel was the personification of grandma-ness. She always made sure everyone was well fed, she always had sweet treats for us when we came to visit, and in later years she was very fond of telling me how wonderful and fun it is to be a young mother, ahem ahem (nehhhh, she wasn't hinting at anything... not at all... ).

These buns will always remind me of her. She always had a batch in her freezer ready to eat after a visit to the microwave. The original recipe didn't call for whole wheat flour or spinach, but I tweaked it up a bit, you're welcome.
